Born and raised in Petrolia, Ontario, I am the third generation to serve in the Canadian Military. My family background has given me a keen interest in militaria.
During my career of 23 years in the Armed Forces, I served as an armoured crewman with the following regiments: The Fort Garry Horse, The Lord Strathcona Horse, (RC), and The Royal Canadian Dragoons. I also served as a mechanic with the 1st Service Battalion, 408 TAC HEL Squadron, and CFB Edmonton.
My tours of service included, two tours of Cyprus with the UN, one tour of Golan Heights with the UN, a two-year tour in Germany with the NATO Forces, and two tours of Alert, NWT. I was also posted to CFS Dana, CFB Calgary, and CFB Edmonton.
In 2001 my medals required remounting, I approached one of the retired Armed Forces tailors, and requested lessons in the art of medal mounting. After many weeks of instruction and practice, I formed my own company.
My goal in mounting your medals is to provide a professional product and high quality service.
Customers who choose a keepsake shadow box will be passing down to future family members, a personal time capsule.
