Ribbons I can supply full-size, and miniature ribbons for all
Commonwealth military medals. For other nations, a longer
waiting period is required. I can supply ribbons for all
Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, Cadet Corp,
RCMP, Police, and on request other associations
Mounting There are two different methods of mounting medals, court mounting and swing mounting.
Court Mounting - Medals are secured to a stiff backing
which is pinned to the jacket.
Swing Mounting - medals are secured to a medal bar and
allowed to swing naturally.
Medals will be cleaned and clear coated to eliminate tarnishing,
this is included in the cost of mounting.
Shadow Box Medals are mounted and then secured in the shadow box with
with any military artifacts the customer supplies or requests,
along with a photo of the medal recipient. The photo can be
computer enhanced at the customers request (most photos do require computer enhancement).
Colour choices for felt backing are: dark blue, light blue,
green, red, and burgundy. Keepsake boxes, like any other
museum display, should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
General information about your medals is provided on
laminated index cards, attached to the back of your shadow
box.
Shipping Shipping will be in bubble wrapped envelope and sent
& Express Post. Cost will be determined by each individual
Handling shipment.
